Climate Change Duty of Care
I support a legislated requirement for government decision-makers to hold the health and wellbeing of young people and future generations as a paramount consideration when making decisions that will worsen climate change.
Vote One Climate
If I am elected to the next Victorian Parliament as the Member for Nepean, I will support real and meaningful action on issues relating to the ecological and climate emergency.
I support the application of the 3Rs (Reduce, Remove, Reflect) and the Climate Rescue Accord to inform, when relevant to the bill at hand, my position and advocacy on legislation and policy.
Vote for Food
I support the Australian Food Network’s Vote for Food pledge which calls on the Victorian government to:
- Make food a human right
- Build healthy food communities
- Good food for every Victorian child
- Support First Nations food sovereignty
- Back Victorian farmers
Cheaper Power Pledge
The cheapest energy system is one built by and for all Victorians. I make this pledge to the people of Victoria:
- Give Victorians the cheapest, most reliable power
- Ensure no Victorian worker, family, or community is left behind
- Protect Victorians from price shocks
Clean Ocean Foundation Pledge
I commit to protecting the future health of Victoria’s waterways and
coastal communities. I agree:
- Melbourne Water and Victoria’s major public water and wastewater assets must remain publicly owned
- Victoria should properly investigate the EU Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive and its potential application to Victoria
- Action is needed to reduce nutrient pollution and the risk of harmful algal blooms
Treaty for Victoria
I support Australia’s first treaty, Treaty for Victoria and believe that Aboriginal people are the experts on their own lives and know best what does and doesn’t work for them.
The claim that Treaty costs Victorians billions of dollars each year is false. The Treaty bill indicates it will cost approximately $70m.
I would not support any bill to repeal Treaty.
Abortion access
I support the funding pledges made by both the Labor and Liberal parties earlier in October 2026 to cover free medical and surgical abortion care up to 16 weeks (including consultations, scans, tests, and medication) and expand regional patient travel subsidies.
I also support Labor’s proposal to extend medical abortion access from 9 to 10 weeks, and asks Safer Care Victoria to review extending access up to 12 weeks.
Accessibility to care for regional women also needs to be considered and expanded.
I would not support any move to limit access to abortion care.
Community Sport Facilities for Nepean
After meeting with Ben from SPBA, I support his proposal for the expansion of the multi-sport facilities at Dromana Secondary College, including disability access. This space will be used throughout the week by the school and out-of-school hours by the local community, making it an excellent investment in health, education, and youth crime prevention.
